Who is Tahpenes?
Tahpenes was a queen of Egypt, the wife of Pharaoh, whose sister was given in marriage to Hadad the Edomite (1 Kings 11:19). Her sister bore Hadad a son named Genubath, whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh's house (1 Kings 11:20).
