What is Sadducees?
The Sadducees were a Jewish religious party of the New Testament era, often paired with the Pharisees as opponents of Jesus (Matthew 3:7). They denied the resurrection, holding that there is no resurrection, angel, nor spirit, which set them against the Pharisees and against Paul (Acts 23:8).
