Who is Oded?
Oded is the name of two prophets in Chronicles. One was the father of the prophet Azariah, on whom the Spirit of God came in the days of King Asa (2 Chronicles 15:1), and is himself called Oded the prophet whose prophecy moved Asa to put away idols (2 Chronicles 15:8). The other was a prophet of the LORD at Samaria who confronted the army of Israel over their captives from Judah (2 Chronicles 28:9).
