Who is Meshech?

Meshech was a son of Japheth, listed among the descendants of Noah after the flood (Genesis 10:2). The name later stands for the people descended from him, traders named with Tubal (Ezekiel 27:13) and joined with Tubal under the prince Gog (Ezekiel 38:2).
