Who is Merib Baal?
Merib Baal, spelled Meribbaal in the KJV, was the son of Jonathan and the father of Micah (1 Chronicles 8:34). The genealogy of Saul's house repeats the same line in its second listing, where the son of Jonathan is again Meribbaal, who begat Micah (1 Chronicles 9:40). These two verses are the only places the name occurs.
