Who is Medad?
Medad was one of two men, with Eldad, who remained in the camp among those chosen as elders but did not go out to the tabernacle; the Spirit rested on them and they prophesied in the camp (Numbers 11:26). When this was reported to Moses, he wished that all the LORD's people were prophets (Numbers 11:27).
