Massah

What is Massah?
Massah was a place in the wilderness where the thirsty Israelites quarreled with Moses and tested the LORD, asking whether he was among them or not (Exodus 17:7). Moses later warned Israel not to tempt God as they had at Massah (Deuteronomy 6:16).
