Who is Malcham?
The name Malcham refers to two different things in Scripture. As a person, Malcham was a son of Shaharaim the Benjamite, born to him in Moab through his wife Hodesh (1 Chronicles 8:9). The same name is also used for a pagan god that people wrongly swore by, whom the LORD condemns worshiping (Zephaniah 1:5).
