Lahela
la-HAY-luh
What is Lahela?
Lahela is the Douay-Rheims spelling of Halah, one of the Assyrian places of exile. The king of Assyria took Samaria and placed Israel in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan (2 Kings 17:6), and the Reubenites, Gadites and half tribe of Manasseh were carried there as well (1 Chronicles 5:26).
