Kishon

What is Kishon?
The Kishon was a river in northern Israel where God routed Sisera and the army of Jabin; the river swept the enemy away, as sung in the Song of Deborah (Judges 5:21). Centuries later Elijah brought the prophets of Baal down to the brook Kishon and slew them there (1 Kings 18:40).
