What is Jegar Sahadutha?
Jegarsahadutha is the name Laban gave to the heap of stones that he and Jacob raised as a witness to the covenant between them, after Jacob fled from him (Genesis 31:47). It is Laban's name for the pile; Jacob called the same heap Galeed.
