GEER-ooth-KIM-ham

What is Geruth Kimham?

Geruth Kimham is the untranslated Hebrew name of the place the King James text calls the habitation of Chimham, which is by Bethlehem, where Johanan and the people halted on their way into Egypt (Jeremiah 41:17). Chimham was the young man David took over with him from Barzillai (2 Samuel 19:38).
