What is Ezion-geber?
Ezion-geber was a port beside Eloth on the shore of the Red Sea in the land of Edom, where King Solomon built a navy of ships (1 Kings 9:26, 2 Chronicles 8:17). It was later the harbor where Jehoshaphat's ships were built and wrecked (1 Kings 22:49, 2 Chronicles 20:36).
