Epaphras
EH-puh-fras
Who is Epaphras?
Epaphras was a fellow servant of Paul and a faithful minister of Christ from whom the Colossians had learned the gospel (Colossians 1:7). Paul commends him as one of their own who labored fervently in prayer for them and had great zeal for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis, and calls him a fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus (Colossians 4:12, Colossians 4:13, Philemon 1:23).
