What is Emim?
The Emim, spelled Emims in the King James Version, were a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims, who dwelt in times past in the land afterward held by Moab (Deuteronomy 2:10). They were also accounted giants, as the Anakims, and it is the Moabites who call them by this name (Deuteronomy 2:11). Chedorlaomer and the kings with him smote them in Shaveh Kiriathaim (Genesis 14:5).
