What is Derbe?
Derbe was a city of Lycaonia that Paul and Barnabas fled to and preached the gospel in during their first missionary journey (Acts 14:6, Acts 14:20). Paul returned there later (Acts 16:1), and one of his traveling companions, Gaius, is called a man of Derbe (Acts 20:4).
