What is Cyprus?
Cyprus is the large Mediterranean island that was the home country of Barnabas, a Levite (Acts 4:36). Barnabas and Saul sailed there at the start of the first missionary journey (Acts 13:4), believers scattered by persecution preached there (Acts 11:19), and Barnabas later returned to the island with Mark (Acts 15:39).
