Cononiah
KON-uh-NYE-uh
Who is Cononiah?
Cononiah was the Levite set as ruler over the offerings, the tithes, and the dedicated things brought in under King Hezekiah, with his brother Shimei next to him (2 Chronicles 31:12). Ten overseers, among them Jehiel, Azaziah, and Nahath, served under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei at the commandment of the king (2 Chronicles 31:13).
