Who is Cainan?
Cainan was a patriarch in the line from Adam, the son of Enos and the father of Mahalaleel, who lived nine hundred and ten years (Genesis 5:9, Genesis 5:12, Genesis 5:14). He also appears in the genealogy of Jesus in Luke 3:37.
