What is Beroea?
Beroea is the Greek form of Berea, the Macedonian city to which the brethren sent away Paul and Silas by night, and where they went into the synagogue of the Jews (Acts 17:10). Jews from Thessalonica followed and stirred up the people against Paul there (Acts 17:13).
