Baali

BAY-uh-lye or BAH-uh-lye

What is Baali?

Baali is a form of address for the LORD that he says will be set aside. It shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi, and shalt call me no more Baali (Hosea 2:16). The KJV uses the word only there, as the name of address being replaced.

Meaning: my master (Hebrew)
