Azekah

What is Azekah?
Azekah was a city in the lowlands of Judah (Joshua 15:35). The Philistines camped between Sochoh and Azekah at Ephesdammim when Goliath challenged Israel (1 Samuel 17:1), and it was one of the last fortified cities of Judah still resisting Babylon (Jeremiah 34:7).
