Who was Axa?
Axa is an alternate spelling of Achsah, the daughter of Caleb. Caleb promised her in marriage to whoever captured Kirjath-sepher, and Othniel took the city and won her as his wife (Joshua 15:16, Judges 1:12). The King James Version spells her name Achsah.
