Who was Anael?
Anael was the brother of Tobit and the father of Achiacharus, who was set over the royal accounts and affairs at Nineve (Tobit 1:21). Achiacharus, Anael's son, later interceded for Tobit so that he could return to the city (Tobit 1:22).
